Last weekend, the Thunderdog team fully customized a Mini Cooper with an all reflective, vinyl sticker kit. What does that mean you ask? It means that it literally glows in the dark! We were asked by Matt Farah of the New York Motor Club to customize the Mini for his on line auto show, GARAGE 419 and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. So we went down to D.U.M.B.O. and used the facilities of Scott Chesters’ ACID STUDIOS to get the job done. The result, was an all day circus of Chevy Impalas, breast implants, dreadlock moguls and some serious hard work.
This project was inspired by the BMW Art Car project between 1975 & 1999, where artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Rauschenberg (R.I.P.) made one of a kind works of art from BMWs’ finest automobiles. Check the BMW art cars here

Tristan Eaton designed this decadent limited edition shoe now available at Triple 5 Soul stores everywhere. It’s their ‘Old School Skate’ model in blue suede, adorned with embroidery, silk-screen and a custom lace lock. it’s limited to only 555 pairs, so go out and grab em’ before they run out! THE MIRF!
Next month,1134NYC teams up with NYC Art Toy Brand Thunderdog Studios to release the first ever graffiti based, wall mounted, vinyl toy.
Designed by 1134 members MINT & SERF, this toy features a pure collaboration, merging their styles to form the iconic ‘MIRF’. More of a sculpture than a toy, the 9″ long MIRF is rotary molded in soft-vinyl and made in 4 color-ways, each limited to 200 pieces. The sleek sculpting of the MIRF is accentuated by its’ luxurious packaging which features a slide out box, silver foil and a two sided, flocked, blister tray.
East Coast (Black & White Matte) & West Coast (Black & White Glossy) editions are set to launch in June, 2008.
