THUNDERDOG ZURICH - Follow Up…
THUNDERDOG ZURICH - Follow Up…

Tristan here. So much happened in Zurich it’s taken a while to digest it all. Plus, we just recovered from our hangovers a day ago - so we figured it’s time to show you all what went down. First of all THANKS A MILLION to the guys from UNCUT CONCEPTS & RE- HAB for bringing us out there. It was so fun. It was almost unfair how well Zurich treated us.
About the art…For this installation I was told I could do ANYTHING I wanted, so naturally I abused such a generous offer. Give me an inch, I’ll paint the ruler. I wanted to go dirty and to go big. So I redesigned a whole series of classified ads from 1970s porno magazines, replacing the art with mine and changing the text here and there. I pasted them up, inside and out, then hand painted my signature buxom vixens on top. I was hoping the XXX content would incite quite a comical reaction from the unsuspecting Swiss. Little did I know, the site for the installation was not only an old strip club, but smack in the middle of Zurich’s (former) Red Light District! And even better, it was actually underneath a functioning brothel. So to my dismay, my XXX art was rendered impotent and actually fit right in. Pretty cool I guess. Next time I’ll take this show to the upper east side and get the reaction I hoped for…
This is one of the brothel workers. At one point, 4 prostitutes watched us paint for about an hour, asking us if we were painting them in the pictures…(you wish).
The XXX wallpaper in progress…
The painting begins…

Almost complete…

I gotta give it up to Zurich.
They have a thriving Graffiti community. So much beautiful street art.

They even have a train that goes to SEENs’ house!
This was next to one of the big night clubs. It’s made out of shipping containers. Weird.
We were there right at the end of the Euro Cup and this GIANT sculpture sponsored by ADIDAS was in the Central Train Station. Totally insane. Good thing Spain won, because the Swiss do not like the Germans…and it was party time.
Opening night at RE-HAB. This is George from RE- HAB, Phil from THUNDERDOG and Philip from RE- HAB / UNCUT CONCEPTS.
This girl was literally one of my cartoons. I made her in illustrator. She came out really cool.
More awesome people at the opening night…
After the party it was the after party…over to Zurichs’ best night club, the Kaufleuten! The invited us to paint on stage…(sorry for the bad quality flicks).

By this time, we were full on Swiss beer and completely exhausted. I don’t know how we did it.

The usual suspects, plus Super Mario in the middle. And it’s over…Flew home the next morning.
What’s next you ask…Well, San Diego Comic Con at the end of July, then BRAZIL in August!
See you all soon.
