B-BOT is brought to you by New York based creative agency Thunderdog Studios and features all new artwork from world-renowned artist Tristan Eaton.

Famous for his work in designer toys (including Kidrobot’s Dunny and Munny), Tristan Eaton has brought his art to the small screen with an app that combines the visual style of the art toy movement with the sleek technology of the iPhone. If you ever wanted to see how you’d look as an Urban Vinyl Toy, here’s your chance!

With B-BOT you can customize your contacts by making awesome cartoons of yourself and your friends. Once you’ve created a B-BOT, you can assign it to a contact on your iPhone or iPod touch directly from the application. Now when you receive a call from that person, the B-BOT will show up on the caller ID screen. Or you can use our built-in shuffle feature to randomly generate B-BOTs ‘til the cows come home!

A selection of Thunderdog’s design work for the Barack Obama Campaign will be featured in this awesome exhibit in Chicago. A big thanks Scott Thomas (the main man behind the Obama campaign visual identity) for including us!

OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL is an exhibition of prints, posters, photographs, and videos that emerged in 2008 as icons of the art movement in support of Barack Obama for President. The exhibition will include official campaign materials as well as independent work by artists and designers from Chicago and across the country.

The show is being curated by NATHAN MASON, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs - SCOTT THOMAS, the former Design Director of Obama for America - Chicago artist RAY NOLAND of CRO - in collaboration with THE POST FAMILY - HAL WERT of the Kansas City Art Institute.

Featuring the work of: Shepard Fairey, Ray Noland, SimpleScott, ISO50, Tristan Eaton, Ron English, Sol Sender, Bask, Aaron Amaro, Cody Hudson and more…
