We’re super excited! Keep an eye on BIC Plastics for updates and release dates. We hope you guys dig it!

Tonight Kidrobot is opening it’s newest exhibition of customized Munny toys (designed by Thunderdog founder Tristan Eaton of course). The line up of artists is really impressive and so is the work. Check out the entry below from Thunderdog. Designed and executed by Tristan and Matt Eaton.

After 5 months of hard work, we have completed and launched our very own iPhone App!!! It’s called B-BOT and is up on the iTunes store now! We are so proud and so happy to see this out there in the world and we know you’re gonna love it!
Make sure to write us a review and let us know what you think! 5 stars are appreciated!!!
And make sure you check out the B-BOT Gallery too: www.mybbot.com

B-BOT!
Make friends. Customize your contacts.
B-BOT is brought to you by New York based creative agency Thunderdog Studios and features all new artwork from world-renowned artist Tristan Eaton.
Famous for his work in designer toys (including Kidrobot’s Dunny and Munny), Tristan Eaton has brought his art to the small screen with an app that combines the visual style of the art toy movement with the sleek technology of the iPhone. If you ever wanted to see how you’d look as an Urban Vinyl Toy, here’s your chance!
With B-BOT you can customize your contacts by making awesome cartoons of yourself and your friends. Once you’ve created a B-BOT, you can assign it to a contact on your iPhone or iPod touch directly from the application. Now when you receive a call from that person, the B-BOT will show up on the caller ID screen. Or you can use our built-in shuffle feature to randomly generate B-BOTs ‘til the cows come home!
B-BOT features a huge variety of bodies to choose from along with hundreds of hair styles, accessories, eyes, mouths, sneakers, and more. No matter how fresh or freaky your style is, there’s something in there for you! With over 400 items to choose from, you can make over a billion B-BOTs of yourself and your friends. And if you don’t have any friends, just make them!
-
B-BOT was conceived by Tristan and New York creative Peter Cortez while working together on a project for the 2008 Barack Obama Campaign.
B-BOT was developed by Greg Elliott, the creator of SynchStep; the app that automatically synchs your music to your pace. www.synchstep.com

We were happy to recently be invited into the world traveling exhibition THE VADER PROJECT, curated by DKE TOYS. For this project Tristan collaborated with Thunderdog regular AZK ONE and hand crafted a Darth Vader helmet reminiscent of war on earth, past future and present. We love it, but it is really, really creepy!
The exhibition features custom Darth Vader helmets by artists and brands all over the world, including BountyHunter, Usugrow, Devilrobots, Tim Biskup, Mr. Cartoon, Mike Giant and many more. The next stop will be at Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Museum. Check www.thevaderproject.com for more details.
Also check out www.vinylpulse.com for their review of our piece!
For the holidays we’ve put a big fat discount on our store items! Starting Cyber Monday and running through December 25th, there will be 20% off every item in the store. PLUS, with every purchase you get a FREE, old school (well, 1999) break record designed by TRISTAN EATON. We found a lost box of these in storage and decided to get them to the masses! PIMP BREAKS BABY!
We also added a bunch of new items: S.P.U.D. toys, MIRF toys & Obama Posters. And we have a few THUNDERMUTTs left too!
Check it out at: THUNDERDOG STORE
After painting in central Sao Paulo, Plastik’s neighborhood was a big contrast. Lots of stores and super safe. So we got down to business…The party was great, check out the highlights!
