Being a big fan of Detroit nostalgia, Tristan set out to make a timeless piece of work chronicling all his favorite aspects of the city - all encompassed by the notorious, old english D!
The Detroit Tigers’ ‘D’ logo has become a logo for the entire city and a brand of pride for Detroiters everywhere, so it was a fitting frame to carry this idea.

2 weeks ago Thunderdog Studios, Bernstein & Andriuli and Studio Number One came together for a super secret, private exhibition at the New York offices of the prestigious advertising Agency, Ogilvy Mather.

The party was a great time…featuring murals by Tristan Eaton and Shepard Fairey and commercial works by their respective design studios.

Konichiwa everyone.

These are exciting times! This week Thunderdog is in Tokyo. We’ll be opening 2 exhibitions in one week!

The first will be at Gallery Lele and will feature the next
installment of Tristan Eaton’s adorable little RUNT characters.

For the show he made an entire series of vintage animation cells, some
layered glass shadow boxes and a whole bunch of other great stuff. All
of it will be super cheap and will be available on Gallery Lele’s

We will also be debuting the first PLUSH RUNT TOYS! Also available
from the gallery website.

Then we head over to the Calquinto Showroom to debut our entire Toy
Brand to Japan for the first time! The exhibition will feature 3
floors of THUNDERDOG & ALIVE ATHLETICS product with some of Japan’s
best hip-hop DJs playing, not to mention Tristan and FILTH painting
live on two separate floors!

That’s right…we have our very own blog.

From now on all of our news, events, toy releases and behind the scenes drama will be posted right here for your viewing pleasure.
